As a coach, content expert, and facilitator, Ellie has seen firsthand the impact strong communication has on businesses, individuals, and teams.
She has worked closely with Apple, Google, Kate Spade, Marriott, Morgan Stanley, Oracle, Pfizer, Piaget, Spotify, Starbucks, and Twitter, among others. In particular, Ellie loves helping people better articulate themselves.
An Irish-Brit turned New Yorker, Ellie lives in Brooklyn with her family, which includes the company's Director of Morale. She is half-heartedly battling a caffeine addiction.
A communications and branding professional, Amy is well versed in helping companies position themselves in the best possible ways. She has worked with leading brands like American Express, Leading Hotels of The World, Merck, Penn Mutual, Pfizer, St. Regis, The Luxury Collection, and W Hotels.
What she’s most passionate about, though, is helping individuals position themselves for success. She coaches job seekers and those in career transitions, and often mentors students and recent graduates of her alma mater, Northwestern University.
Amy is also a volunteer with the non-profit New Women New Yorkers, where she helps immigrant women build the skills and confidence to enter the NYC job market.
Amy spends her free time with her husband, baby daughter, and rescue retired racing greyhound.
Erin is a strategic and creative leader with 15 years of international experience in branding, research, advertising, and entertainment.
Her work has included brand campaigns for LG, Walmart, L'Oreal, and Moroccanoil, creative partnerships with Wired, Vogue, Sprint, Pharrell Williams, and the State of Qatar, and an Emmy-winning mobile app with Taylor Swift and AmEx.
Erin is aging into activities she formerly found distasteful in others: practicing yoga and holding lengthy one-sided conversations with her pets.
Joe acts as CFO for Pencil or Ink, spending a lot of his time thinking through financial strategy and how to position the company to best serve our clients.
With a degree in engineering and a career in banking, Joe takes a scientific approach to the numbers. After past lives at Goldman Sachs and Perella Weinberg Partners, Joe founded Calculate to provide boutique businesses with the benefits of a full finance team while they scale.
In his free time, Joe can be seen buzzing around NYC on his motorcycle, out to dinner with his wife, or chasing his nieces and nephews.
Jillian is a CPA, accounting veteran, and Controller for Pencil or Ink.
After a getting her degree in Accounting, Jillian landed her first job with PwC. Since then, she's worked in a variety of tax and accounting roles with BDO, Marcum, and Estee Lauder. Her specialty lies in performing the proper planning around cash and taxes for boutique businesses and their owners.
When Jillian's not crunching numbers, you can find her hanging with her rescue pup, Abby, practicing French, or planning her next big trip.

Matylda is an NYU-certified leadership coach and facilitator who helps ambitious, driven, and successful trailblazers gain clarity on what’s next and how to get there faster. Her coaching, informed by neuroscience and positive psychology, draws on research on how the brain can change and what it takes to create new habits and states of being. Her clients range from seasoned professionals to new leaders and entrepreneurs who are ready to become better bosses and create a powerful legacy.
In addition to coaching individuals, Matylda designs leadership training programs for companies and organizations seeking culture change, or to gain alignment and clarity on their vision, and empower their leadership teams to get there most effectively. Matylda has coached clients in New York, Silicon Valley, London and Taiwan and companies including ESPN, Forbes, WeWork, Flatiron School, Barclays, StoryCorps and YearUp.
In her free time, you can find her adventuring around NYC and beyond, swing dancing, swimming and eating tacos.
After 15 years in educational leadership in international schools, coaching teachers and promoting the development of high achieving students, Dominique realized that all her experiences were building towards coaching. She decided to jump in and became a personal coach for professionals. She started coaching high performers as well as planning and facilitating group sessions and workshops. She works with leaders, entrepreneurs and aspiring founders and she challenges her clients to slow down, dig deep and reflect so they can speed up, take action and perform at their highest level.
Originally from France, Dominique has lived and worked in Europe, Asia and the US. She holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Education as well as a Masters in Educational Leadership and she trained as a brain-based coach with the NeuroLeadership Institute. When she is not working, she is often found surfing at Rockaway Beach or living a peaceful life with her boyfriend and Professor the dog.
